1. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of this website and its booking engine constitutes acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation Policy and the Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you must not use the booking engine.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the moment your reservation is confirmed governs that reservation for its full lifecycle, including any subsequent amendment, cancellation or refund.
2. About MPT and this Platform
Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited is a State Government company incorporated on 20 January 1975 under the Companies Act, 1956, functioning as a State Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Central Reservations operate from Apeejay House, Fort, Mumbai 400001.
Certain resorts and restaurants are run by approved operating partners under MPT supervision at published government tariff. In those cases the operating partner is responsible for the on-site delivery of services, while the reservation contract for the room is created through this platform.
3. Eligibility to Book
You must be at least eighteen years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By booking, you warrant that the information you supply is true, that you are authorised to act for every guest named, and that the payment instrument used belongs to you or is used with the owner’s permission.
4. Reservations and Confirmation
4.1 Creating a reservation
Submitting the booking form creates a request, not a confirmed stay. A reservation becomes binding only when a Booking ID and PNR are issued and payment is recorded against them.
4.2 Availability
All rooms are subject to live availability. Where inventory is exhausted between your request and confirmation, we will offer the nearest comparable room category or a full refund of any amount received.
4.3 Booking documents
Your confirmation email and downloadable voucher carry the Booking ID, PNR, property, room category, dates, occupancy and amount paid. Please carry the voucher, in print or on a device, to the resort.
5. Tariffs, Taxes and Inclusions
Tariffs are quoted per room per night in Indian Rupees. Unless the room card states otherwise, rates exclude Goods and Services Tax and any statutory levy, which are charged at the rate applicable on the date of invoice.
- Meal plan inclusions are shown on the room card at the time of booking and are limited to the stated meals.
- Optional services such as safaris, boating, guided tours, laundry, minibar and early check-in are charged separately at the resort.
- Tariffs may vary by season, weekend, festival period and demand; the rate confirmed on your voucher is the rate that applies to your stay.
- Where a government notification alters applicable tax rates before your stay, the revised rate applies.
6. Payment Terms
Full payment is required to confirm a reservation. Pay-at-reception is not offered through this platform. Payments are accepted through the instruments displayed on the payment page.
- A reservation for which payment is not received within the window shown on the payment page may be released without further notice.
- Where a payment is debited but not confirmed, the amount is auto-reversed by the issuing bank, ordinarily within seven working days.
- Payment confirmation is verified against the transaction reference; incorrect or duplicated references may delay confirmation.
- We never request card numbers, CVV, PIN, internet banking passwords or one-time passwords over telephone, email or messaging.
7. Vouchers, Coupons and Discounts
Discount codes published on this website may be applied by selecting the coupon in the booking form and confirming it. A coupon applies to the room tariff only and never to taxes, statutory levies or on-site purchases.
- Only one coupon may be applied to a reservation; coupons cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.
- A coupon tied to a payment instrument is valid only when that instrument is actually used to complete the payment.
- Coupons may be withdrawn or altered at any time; the coupon recorded on your confirmed voucher remains honoured.
- Where a booking is cancelled, refunds are computed on the discounted amount actually paid.
8. Check-in, Check-out and Identification
Standard check-in is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 noon, unless a different time is printed on your voucher. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract a charge.
Valid original government-issued photo identification is mandatory at check-in for every adult guest. Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa, and complete Form C as required by law. Entry may be refused where identification is not produced, and such refusal is treated as a no-show.
9. Occupancy, Children and Extra Beds
- Maximum occupancy per room category is stated on the room card and is strictly enforced for safety and licensing reasons.
- Children below the age shown on the room card may stay without an extra bed, sharing existing bedding.
- Extra beds and mattresses are limited, chargeable, and subject to availability at the resort.
- Guests exceeding the confirmed occupancy may be required to book an additional room at the prevailing tariff.
10. Guest Conduct and House Rules
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and for the conduct of accompanying persons. Damage or loss caused to resort property will be charged at replacement cost.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated areas; smoking in rooms attracts a cleaning charge.
- Consumption of alcohol is subject to Madhya Pradesh excise law, including permit requirements where applicable.
- Illegal substances, firearms and hazardous materials are prohibited on resort premises.
- Pets are not permitted unless the property expressly states otherwise.
- Quiet hours, wildlife-zone timings, trekking restrictions and water-safety instructions at beach and lake properties must be observed at all times.
- MPT may terminate a stay without refund where conduct endangers other guests, staff, wildlife or property.
11. Amendments, Cancellations and Refunds
Amendments are subject to availability and any tariff difference. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Cancellation Policy and the Refund Policy published on this website, which form part of these Terms. In summary, cancellations made at least twenty-four hours before check-in are eligible for refund, and refunds are processed within two to seven working days of approval.
12. Accessibility and Special Requirements
Many MPT properties are located in hill, forest, cave and coastal terrain where step-free access cannot be guaranteed. Please record accessibility, dietary or medical requirements in the special requests field and confirm feasibility with Central Reservations before travelling. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee them.
13. Property Images and Content Accuracy
Photographs, room descriptions, amenity lists and maps are published in good faith and sourced from MPT inventory records. Furnishings, views and layouts may vary between rooms of the same category. Seasonal conditions, maintenance work and government directions may affect the availability of pools, boating, safaris and other facilities without notice.
14. Intellectual Property
The MPT name, logo, the “MP Tourism — The Heart of India” mark, website design, text, photographs and data are protected by law and remain the property of MPT or its licensors. You may not reproduce, scrape, republish or commercially exploit any part of this website without prior written permission.
15. Acceptable Use of the Website
- Do not make speculative, fraudulent or automated bookings, or use bots to query inventory.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, database or administrative area.
- Do not introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service, or interfere with the availability of the service.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or use another person's payment instrument without authority.
Breach may result in cancellation without refund and referral to the appropriate authorities.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MPT’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a reservation is limited to the amount actually received by MPT for that reservation.
MPT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, missed connections, or loss of profit. MPT is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, cash or valuables not deposited in the safe custody facility where one is provided.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MPT, its officers, employees and operating partners against any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or damage caused by you or any guest in your reservation.
18. Force Majeure
MPT is not liable for failure to perform where the cause is beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, flood, cyclone, landslide, epidemic or pandemic, fire, war, civil unrest, strike, failure of power or telecommunications, or any order or direction of a government authority. In such cases we will offer a date change or a refund of the amount received, at the guest’s election, wherever feasible.
19. Grievance Redressal
Grievances may be raised with Central Reservations quoting the Booking ID and PNR. Complaints are acknowledged within forty-eight hours and resolved within thirty days, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or a reservation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, India.
